i see a lot of problem with this "easy loader ".its definitely overloaded for a 1 ton pick up truck. that thing is too steep , bald tires in winter conditions will cause problems .and you know you cant make a lot of mistakes in this business . and kaufman ? i? see a lot of people in manheim auctions parking lots complaining about kaufman not delivering .

You are very right. The? lies that the manufacturer will tell a rookie to get them to buy the trailer It great a person would want to get started for themselves and for there family. But new kids on the block do you research first. If you do not watch it you will be filling bankruptcy and do yourself more harm than good.

Worst trailer we have ever owned. Blowing tires every week. Welds breaking, Poor construction. They are nice to you when you buy one. But try to get one fixed after you buy it. It's not going to happen. The company DOES NOT stand behind their products. Replacing axles all the time and tires. Breaking welds every week. This trailer is a joke. SAVE? YOUR MONEY DO NOT BUY A KAUFMAN. I have been in this for 19 years and we bought this for a local truck this is one of the worst we have owned.

Car transporting is a talent not a job, I'm 26 and I started when I? was 21 I learned in a flatbed and moved to a wrecker then hauled ferraris for a Ferrari dealer then I operated a heavy wrecker for a year and a half. While I was working I started buying equipment. Best advice learn how not to damage cars on some one elses insurance and start your business with a clean license, I pay 12k a year for insurance because I screwed around in fast cars. Good luck

i do a 4 car hauler 500 out of NJ and get about 140K gross, i go home with with over 75K? so it's not that bad...and if you work smart it's not that hard :D

evowiz: i wish you knew what you were? talking about. in fact, people like would go out of business within 3 months. out of that $200k gross, he only keeps about $50k. oh and wait till your bills shoot up to $6k/month. let me see, insurance $1k, truck payments $1.5k, etc... i'm doing this right now. you don't become a millionaire, trust me. just hoping to pay the bills on time. if you think you'll get rich over night, don't bother. its hard work.

i? havent seen one of them before, but down here in Australia, that is way too slow for my liking, on my 6 car carrier, i would have had 3 vehicles on the top deck, strapped and away you go in the time it took one car to go on that trailer

Money's good, you gotta work your ass off, this thing? looks like a pain in the ass to load. Hydraulics too slow, the incline too steep so you have to operate the hydraulics to get each car on. As evowiz stated, getting the customers is key, you gotta get a solid customer base, then you have to work quickly, safely, and damage free.

My brother in law is in that business. Works out of Riverside & Fontana (southern California) auctions. Makes over $ 200K gross a year, but he also has? a 10 car hauler... I went out on a trip with him the other day, meet a guy with a 4 car hauler attached to a ford dually, asked him how much he was making. He said on a "slow" week he makes $ 1,500 on local routes. Thats on a slow week? Shoot I think I might use my truck and do the same...(trick is getting the clients)
